As an "old Canton" who has lived in Guangzhou for more than ten years,

Commissioned by the Guangzhou Urban Renewal Bureau to produce a promotional video for Guangzhou Urban Renewal,

To be honest, it was both excited and terrified.

Fortunately, the team members are very good, and they agree that no matter how good the quality is, they are worthy of Guangzhou.

I also want to thank the leaders of the Bureau of Updates. They did not stick to the inherent impression of the government propaganda film Gao Daquan, but encouraged us to bravely step out of the box.

After a detailed survey of the scene, we proposed that Guangzhou’s renewal is not a one-size-fits-all approach, but a transformation based on respect for the original characteristics of the space.

This is the difference between Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and also the difference between Guangzhou and many so-called new frontiers.

In the old factory, the door was closed tightly, and there was no connection with ordinary citizens. When enterprises entered and people entered, the space was given new life.

The withered villages in the past have become modern high-rise buildings, adding a touch of color to the city.

We read in TIT’s 24-hour bookstore and put postcards in the mailbox at the door of WeChat.

The renewal of the city promotes the development of the city, while leaving the memory of the city and condensing the hearts of the people.

We realize that "the memory of the city, the heart of the people", this may be the soul of this film.

Surprisingly, our idea was unanimously approved by the leaders of the Bureau of Update.

Next is the intense execution stage. A team of 23 people, 21 days of full filming, more than 100 people participating in the performance, 21 days of post-production, 14 edited versions, which lasted 2 months, finally handed in a satisfactory answer sheet, which can be considered as Guangzhou's development has contributed a meager force.
